Rob went to Columbia University in New York for his undergraduate degree and received his MBA from the University of Maryland.  He later went on to film school, also at Columbia University in New York, where he received his MFA in Screenwriting. SERGEI KRASIKOV (CONSULTING PRODUCER)

Upon moving to the United States in 2000, Sergei apprenticed to German filmmaker Karola Ritter, a regular contributor to Maysles and Pennebecker films, and worked extensively with civil rights legend Bob Zellner. Upon setting up shop in Brooklyn in 2004, Sergei became a full-time independent filmmaker concentrating on producing challenging documentary and narrative films and non-fiction cinematography, as well as regular collaborations with dance and theater groups, conceptual video artists, and performers. Most of Sergei’s creative interests are at the intersection of the environment, social justice, and art.

His recent projects include Saturday Night for director James Franco and Bigger Than the Beatles by Charles Krezell. Sergei is working on the release of Cultures of Resistance. This travelogue documentary, which was directed by Iara Lee and shot in 26 countries, explores art’s power to address violence and social injustice. Sergei is also finishing a feature documentary, Bloom City, and developing a narrative script with Ukrainian-born director Bohdana Smyrnova, a recent winner of the exclusive Cannes Film Festival script writing residency program.
